Lovin’ Our Leisure Travel!Catch the Whales!
For those of you venturing to the northeast this summer, let me share what we did a couple of years ago. It was such an awesome afternoon among several awesome July days exploring the Maine/Mass. coast! Leaving from Gloucester, Mass, we joined a group of whale watching tourists. Our boat had an accredited naturalist whale watch researcher on board. He knew where to direct the vessel for the best sightings. And did we ever see the whales – too many to count! Some moms protecting their calves, all of them in feeding frenzies! Our pictures tell only a small part of the adventure – but they will give you a sampling! What a way to spend an afternoon!
Escape to Jamaica
Ready to lay back and get really lazy for a while? How ‘bout an adult only Epicurean Escape to Jamaica?? This is a dream of a trip, for sure! At a super all inclusive resort and spa – you’ve gotta check this one out at www.dickgeiger.worldventures.biz to believe it! Too many amenities to mention (but including 24 hour room service, sunset yacht cruises, all you can eat or drink served by world class chefs, pedicures, etc., etc.) the possibilities for your relaxation go on and on – and it’s a deal you’ll find only at this price through our website. Just maybe, June 2008 is the year you can pamper yourself!
Costa Rica!
Need a quick getaway? How about 3 nights/4 days in a 5 star hotel price including, all you can eat and drink (all the alcoholic beverages you can consume!) FANTASTIC!
Going with 300 friends in our travel club to Costa Rica, sharing the white water rafting, horseback riding, going to the volcano, attending a Costa Rican Rodeo, or zip lining through the rain forest (13 platforms 250 feet off the ground) AWESOME! All at unbelievable prices!
That was last year, (check out my pictures) but it’s not too late – you might want to consider a May vacation to Cost Rica yourself and catch some warm water surfing or scuba diving – or even a deep sea fishing excursion. 4 people to a quad get the best rate on this trip– but it’s filling up really fast – check it out at www.dickgeiger.worldventures.biz !
Orlando at more than 1/2!
Didn’t think you could afford to take the family on a trip to Orlando this spring? Maybe you didn’t know how to save more than ½ the best online price for 6 people! If you hurry you can still get 5 days/4nights at a great condo-hotel resort- plus discounted golf, courtesy of our company and the resort! But ya gotta hurry – not many spots open! Check it out at www.dickgeiger.worldventures.biz
Sedona
Have you been to Sedona lately? We had a fantastic time with dear friends exploring the area – and oh, yes – relaxing in the hot tub after the day of hiking! Plan on hiking at least around the base of Bell Rock then catch your breath and meditate awhile at the Chapel of the Holy. Check out all the boutiques and shops within the Mexican-village-lookalike area at the southern edge of Sedona proper. Getting to the Grand Canyon from Sedona is a day trip going through the lovely Oak Creek Canyon. Check out our pictures!
Hong Kong
Just imagine a trip to Hong Kong for 6 days with 4 star hotel accommodations! Several of our friends went together and what a ball they had. They were especially pleased that an English speaking guide was also provided for the excursions they took! These daily excursions were optional – but why not? Taking the tram ride to the top of Victoria Peak, seeing the 111-foot Buddha statue at the Po Lin Monastery, eating the authentic Chinese food, buying a string of real pearls for $5 – who wouldn’t go on the ‘optional’ tours?? If this is your idea of a Dream Trip, contact us or see our website, www.dickgeiger.worldventures.biz, to learn how you can enjoy this and other Dream Trips at a discount!
Snorkeling With Stingrays!
Ever thought of snorkeling among sting rays? - well neither had we – but check it out, here we are at Grand Cayman! We were with 12 others from our area enjoying not only this stop, but Ocho Rios, Jamaica with the famed Dunn River Falls and also Key West. We were delighted to learn the history of the Geiger Tree – brought to Key West by Captain James Geiger from the Caribbean islands. It’s actually featured in one of the Audubon prints.!
Travel for everyone!
There’s a special travel venue for everyone anymore, isn’t there? I was talking with a friend today about her planned trip to Great Britain for a gardening tour. On the return cruise home they had the opportunity to learn from a Master Gardener instructor. We know we baby boomers are exploding the travel industry – why not combine two great loves – traveling and really knowing HOW to garden when we are home! Richard
